Electrochemical energy storage and photoelectrochemical performance of Ni1-XZnXFe2O4 nanoparticles

Ala Manohar et al.

Summary: The mixed Ni-Zn nanoparticles with noteworthy shape are synthesized using a solvothermal reflux technique. The crystalline spinel cubic structure, morphology, and correct stoichiometric element ratio are confirmed by various analysis techniques. Electrochemical performances of the electrode material are investigated using cyclic voltammetry and Galvanostatic charge-discharge techniques. Among the electrodes, the Ni0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4 (ZNF3) electrode exhibits the highest specific capacitance of 152 F/g at a current density of 2 A/g, and the ZNF3 electrode also shows a higher photocurrent density based on the linear sweep voltammetry curve.
