Summary: This systematic review examines the prevalence, associated factors, and potential preventive and treatment strategies for chronic low back pain (CLBP) in older adults. The findings indicate that factors such as female gender, obesity, anxiety, depression, self-expectation, and lifestyle are significantly associated with a higher prevalence of CLBP in older adults. However, limited evidence suggests that moderate leisure-time physical activity may be associated with a lower prevalence of CLBP.
