Additions to the List of Graphidaceae (Lichenized Ascomycetes) in Pakistan

Summary: As part of a comprehensive study on the diversity of lichens in northern areas of Pakistan using molecular and morphological approaches, four species of the family Graphidaceae were discovered. Phylogenetic analysis revealed two new lichen records for Pakistan, namely Diploschistes candidissimus and Xalocoaocellata, while D. scruposus and D. muscorum are new records for Azad Jammu & Kashmir state.

New Records of Saxicolous Lichens from Pakistan

Summary: This study reports two saxicolous species, Bagliettoa calciseda and Diploschistes actinostomus, as new records to the country. Among them, Bagliettoa calciseda is also a new generic record for Pakistan. Detailed morpho-anatomical descriptions, along with discussions on their ecology, distribution, and ITS-based phylogenetic analyses, are provided.
