Two-stage robust optimization model for park integrated energy system based on dynamic programming

Min Wu et al.

Summary: The promotion of park integrated energy system (PIES) has enhanced the integration of electric, gas, heating, and cooling systems but faced challenges with lower system economics and reliability. A two-stage robust optimization model based on dynamic programming strategy (DPS) is proposed to improve economic efficiency and address uncertainties in the planning strategy. The effectiveness of the method is validated through comprehensive case studies.

Multi-stage optimal energy management of multi-energy microgrid in deregulated electricity markets

Yubin Wang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a multi-stage optimal energy management system (EMS) for participating in the deregulated electricity market to minimize operational costs of the MEMG. The EMS consists of forecasting, day-ahead scheduling, and real-time dispatch stages. LSTM is used for day-ahead data forecasting and rolling MPC is used to minimize costs in the real-time dispatch stage.

Stochastic short-term scheduling of a wind-solar-hydro complementary system considering both the day-ahead market bidding and bilateral contracts decomposition

Qian Cheng et al.

Summary: The complementary operation of hydropower, wind, and photovoltaic power is a cost-efficient solution for integrating intermittent wind and PV power. This study establishes a stochastic scheduling model to optimize the day-ahead market bids and the decomposition of daily contracts, aiming to maximize the profits and resource utilization efficiency of a wind-solar-hydro complementary system. The results show that the proposed model effectively decomposes the total energy of the daily contracts and achieves larger benefits, less power curtailment, and higher water resources utilization efficiency.
