However, the binding process may also result in the adsorption of essential nutrients. The selection of appropriate mycotoxin binders should consider the predominant mycotoxin in feeds.

Insight into Yeast-Mycotoxin Relations

The capacity of yeasts for toxin binding and biotransformation, as well as their use in silage, is also highlighted. Further research is needed in this area.
