Outcomes of Adult Liver Retransplantation: A Canadian National Database Analysis

Peter D. Yoon et al.

Validation of the Model for End-stage Liver Disease sodium (MELD-Na) score in the Eurotransplant region

Ben F. J. Goudsmit et al.

Summary: The study found that the MELD-Na score performed better in predicting 90-day WL mortality in the ET region, with a higher c-index and more accurate prediction compared to MELD. It was estimated that using MELD-Na could potentially reduce WL mortality by 4.9%.

Prediction model for early graft failure after liver transplantation using aspartate aminotransferase, total bilirubin and coagulation factor

Jinsoo Rhu et al.

Summary: The study aimed to build predictive models for early graft failure after liver transplantation, using Cox regression and data from living donor and deceased donor transplantations. The model showed high predictability and validity, outperforming traditional models for both living and deceased donor liver transplantations.
