Analytical methods applied for ozone gas detection: A review

Joao Flavio da Silveira Petruci et al.

Summary: Ground-level ozone is increasing worldwide due to anthropogenic emissions and the use of ozone generators. This poses risks to public health, indoor air quality, and materials. Monitoring and control policies are essential, but determining ozone gas remains a challenge. Advances in measurement techniques have been made, but further exploration is needed for device construction and components active towards ozone.

Vertical measurements of roadside air pollutants using a drone

Suhyeon Lee et al.

Summary: In a highly polluted area in South Korea, concentrations of PM2.5, black carbon, and ozone were measured vertically using a drone. The results showed that air circulation was limited by the tall apartment buildings, leading to decreased concentrations of PM2.5 and black carbon above 70 meters and increased concentrations of ozone above 30 meters.

Greenness assessment profile of a QbD screen-printed sensor for real-time monitoring of sodium valproate

Shymaa S. Soliman et al.

Summary: Quality by design (QbD) is used to develop a screen-printed potentiometric sensor for the assay of sodium valproate (VPA) in different matrices. The sensor shows swift and stable response for VPA within wide pH and linear ranges. It is also selective for VPA in the presence of interfering ions, and has been assessed to be greener compared to reported methods.
