Effect of Travel Restrictions of Wuhan City Against COVID-19: A Modified SEIR Model Analysis

Summary: This study aimed to quantitatively estimate the output risk of the COVID-19 epidemic and evaluate the effectiveness of travel restrictions in Wuhan. The results indicated that the travel restrictions in Wuhan reduced the export risk of the virus and slowed down the overall epidemic progression in China. The findings may provide valuable insights for controlling the COVID-19 epidemic globally.
