Active adaptive continuous nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller for hypersonic vehicle

Rongyi Guo et al.

Summary: An active adaptive continuous nonsingular terminal sliding mode algorithm (ACNTSM) is proposed for hypersonic boost glide vehicle, which achieves higher control accuracy and faster response speed. The algorithm includes a continuous nonsingular terminal sliding mode controller and a novel active adaptive law. The controller ensures the convergence of tracking error and sliding variable to zero in finite time while reducing chattering. The adaptive law adjusts the gain of ACNTSM to reduce convergence error, excessive gain, and chattering.

Cascade ADRC with neural network-based ESO for hypersonic vehicle

Lei Liu et al.

Summary: In this paper, the application of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) based on a neural network for the attitude control of a hypersonic vehicle (HV) with uncertain disturbances is investigated. The strong coupling of the HV poses challenges for separate ADRC design for each channel. A cascade active-rejection control scheme is proposed to mitigate this issue, using a Radial Basis Function (RBF) Neural Network instead of the Extended State Observer (ESO) in ADRC. The proposed NNESO-based cascade ADRC demonstrates effective disturbance resistance for HV control.

Fractional Sliding-Mode Control for Microgyroscope Based on Multilayer Recurrent Fuzzy Neural Network

Juntao Fei et al.

Summary: This article proposes an approximation-based adaptive fractional sliding-mode control scheme for a microgyroscope, using a double-loop recurrent fuzzy neural network (DLRFNN) to approximate system uncertainties and disturbance. By incorporating a fractional-order term into the sliding surface, the advantages of fractional calculus and SMC are combined.
