Ultrastable 2D material-wrapped copper nanowires for high-performance flexible and transparent energy devices

Jongyoun Kim et al.

Summary: This article proposes a simple and practical method for synthesizing 2D material-wrapped copper nanowires with highly organized shell morphology. The method involves assembling 2D quantum dots onto the surface of copper nanowires and subjecting them to flash light irradiation. The resulting transparent conducting electrodes exhibit excellent oxidation stability, chemical stability, and mechanical durability, making them suitable for high-performance transparent supercapacitors and heaters.

Construction of a Reciprocal-Supporting Phenol-amine@CuNW Network for Antisedimentation Conductive Ink

Zhenmeng Luo et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel antisedimentation mechanism was proposed based on the coagulation mechanism of colloids. A stable reciprocal-supporting antisedimentation conductive copper nanowire ink was prepared and a uniform conductive coating was successfully manufactured. This antisedimentation mechanism relied on the tannic acid-polyethylene imine composite cluster to provide spatial potential resistance and modify the surface charge of copper nanowires, resulting in stable dispersion in the network.

A Green Approach for High Oxidation Resistance, Flexible Transparent Conductive Films Based on Reduced Graphene Oxide and Copper Nanowires

Ya-Ting Lin et al.

Summary: In this work, highly stable CuNWs-based transparent conductive films (TCFs) were fabricated through a simple dip-coating method using reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and CuNWs. The CuNWs were synthesized using a green aqueous process, and the rGO was prepared through the modified Hummers' method followed by a hydrogen-annealing process. The resulting rGO/CuNWs films exhibited high atmospheric oxidation resistance and excellent flexibility. The TCFs showed high electrical stability and flexibility, demonstrating great potential for future optoelectronic applications.
