An Fe/N co-doped graphitic carbon bulb is synthesized by Prussian blue with a pyrolysis temperature as low as 550 degrees C. Fe facilitates the formation of a graphitic structure, while low temperature guarantees high level of nitrogen. The product shows excellent oxygen reduction reaction catalytic activity in both alkaline and acid electrolytes.
