Gauge Equivariant Neural Networks for Quantum Lattice Gauge Theories

Di Luo et al.

Summary: Gauge equivariant neural-network quantum states are introduced to efficiently simulate many-body quantum systems with exact local gauge invariance, providing compact descriptions of the ground state wave function for the Z(2) theory and demonstrating the phase transition of the Wilson loop order parameter.

Quantum spin systems and supersymmetric gauge theories. Part I

Norton Lee et al.

Summary: By exploiting the relation between supersymmetric gauge theories and quantum spin systems, an explicit formula for the Jost function of the N site sl(2)X X X spin chain and the SLN Gaudin system has been found. Additionally, relationships between the spin chain commuting Hamiltonians and the twisted chiral ring of gauge theory have been established using non-perturbative Dyson-Schwinger equations. The research also explores the chamber dependence of the supersymmetric partition function and the expectation value of surface defects, offering new evidence for the AGT conjecture.

Compact neural-network quantum state representations of Jastrow and stabilizer states

Michael Y. Pei et al.

Summary: Neural-network quantum states (NQS) based on complex restricted Boltzmann machines (RBM) have proven useful in representing important classes of quantum states. Studying compact NQS representations of Jastrow and stabilizer states reveals their potential for exact representation and insights into the structure of numerical NQS solutions.

Exact representations of many-body interactions with restricted-Boltzmann-machine neural networks

Ermal Rrapaj et al.

Summary: In this study, RBMs are used to accurately decompose many-body contact interactions into one-body operators coupled to discrete auxiliary fields. This construction extends the known Hirsch's transform and can be applied to more complex theories, such as pionless effective field theory in nuclear physics. Possible applications of this mapping in quantum annealing applications are also discussed, along with implications for RBM parameter optimization through machine learning.
