Reconceptualising 'reasonable adjustments' for the successful employment of autistic women

Summary: Many autistic women do not receive a diagnosis in childhood and are often socialized to hide or camouflage their differences. Gender biases in the workplace further disadvantage autistic women, while employers may be unaware of how to accommodate them. This article draws on qualitative research data to explore the intersectional experiences of autistic women in the workplace and suggests ways to improve support and inclusion.

Autistic Parents' Personal Experiences of Parenting and Support: Messages from an Online Focus Group
