Green synthesis of platinum nanoparticles as a robust electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation reaction: Metabolite profiling and antioxidant evaluation

Summary: A novel and eco-friendly method was used to synthesize biogenic platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) using sugar cane bagasse extract as the reducing agent. The Pt NPs were characterized using various techniques and the metabolites involved in the biosynthesis process were identified. The biogenic Pt NPs showed high antioxidant properties and superior electrocatalytic activity.

Platinum doped titanium dioxide nanocomposite an efficient platform as anode material for methanol oxidation

Summary: TiO2@Pt nanocomposite was successfully synthesized as an electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation, showing high catalytic activity compared to bare Pt electrode and commercially available Pt/C reference catalyst.
