Dynamic fracture of glass fiber-reinforced ductile polymer matrix composites and loading rate effect

Furthermore, the effects of loading rates on fracture behaviors were studied through quasi-static experiments and postfracture analysis.

Towards green composites: Bioepoxy composites reinforced with bamboo/basalt/carbon fabrics

Summary: This study focuses on replacing synthetic epoxy with bioepoxy resin and replacing synthetic-based composites with fully biobased composites. Hybrid composites of bioepoxy/bamboo/basalt/carbon were fabricated and tested with accelerated weathering. The results showed that these hybrid composites retained excellent mechanical properties, indicating their potential for automotive and structural applications.
