Investigation of dermal exposure to heavy metals (Cu, Zn, Ni, Al, Fe and Pb) in traditional batik industry workers

Summary: This research investigated the heavy metal content in workers of the batik industry, with a focus on dermal intake. The results showed that workers in the dyeing process had the highest hazard quotient values for Cu, Zn, Mn, and Fe.
