A nanocomposite of polypyrrole@MoO3/reduced graphene oxide (PPy@MoO3/rGO) as anode material for supercapacitors was fabricated by a facile and green route. Cyclic voltammograms, charge/discharge profiles, and AC impedance measurements indicated that the kinetics performance of PPy@MoO3/rGO is better than that of PPy@MoO3 nanocomposite. The ternary nanocomposite delivers a higher specific capacitance of 175 F g(-1) at 100 mA g(-1) and better cycling behavior with capacity retention ratios of 88% after 600 cycles compared to the PPy@MoO3 nanocomposite.
