Use of Pulmonary Computed Tomography for Evaluating Suspected Stroke-Associated Pneumonia

Amit K. Kishore et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the diagnostic accuracy of chest X-ray (CXR) and pulmonary computed tomography (CT) for suspected stroke-associated pneumonia (SAP). The results showed that CXR had limited accuracy in diagnosing SAP, while pulmonary CT could serve as a more reliable reference standard for evaluation in multi-center studies.
