Closed-Loop Supply Chain Network Equilibrium with Online Second-Hand Trading

Georgia Fargetta et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the equilibrium problem in a closed-loop supply chain network with online second-hand trading of high-uniqueness products. The study models the optimal behaviors of manufacturers, retailers, demand markets, and an online second-hand platform, and provides the corresponding equilibrium conditions for the closed-loop supply chain network.

Generalized Nash equilibrium and dynamics of popularity of online contents

Georgia Fargetta et al.

Summary: This paper develops a dynamic model of competition for the diffusion of online contents in a two-layer network, where content providers maximize profit by determining optimal views and quality levels. The fixed limit on viewer access generates shared constraints among providers, formulated as a Generalized Nash equilibrium with shared constraints through a variational inequality. The study presents a locally projected dynamical system model for continuous evolution of views and quality levels, discussing stability conditions and providing numerical examples.

A disease transmission inspired closed-loop supply chain dynamic model for product collection

Lingxian Fu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the reverse channel in dynamic closed-loop supply chain system and analyzes the decisions and profits of supply chain members considering the quantitative characteristics of products. The study shows the diverse optimal collection decisions for different development levels of the supply chain. A transfer payment coordination mechanism based on the Nash bargaining model is proposed to address the objective inconsistency between the supply chain and its members. Additionally, a case study using statistical data of Chinese new energy vehicles demonstrates the robustness of the results and offers recommendations for government and NEV managers in China.
