Perirenal fat metastasis of prostate cancer

Teppei Wakita et al.

Summary: A 72-year-old male underwent abdominal CT scan and was found to have a nodular incidentaloma in the left perirenal fat tissue. Retroperitoneoscopic surgery revealed PSA-positive adenocarcinoma, which was diagnosed as a metastatic lesion associated with prostate cancer. High PSA levels and MRI findings indicated extracapsular extension of prostate cancer.
