Uncertainty in long-term macroeconomic forecasts: Ex post evaluation of forecasts by economics researchers

The findings show that there is an upward bias in economic growth and inflation forecasts for the next ten years. However, academic researchers specializing in macroeconomics and economic growth have a larger upward bias than those in other research fields.
