Choledochal cyst (CC) is a rare congenital abnormality of the biliary system, with CC larger than 10 cm being even rarer. This case report highlights a 25 x 18 cm CC and emphasizes the good prognosis that can be achieved through timely diagnosis and definitive treatment, regardless of the size.
Choledochal cyst (CC) is an atypical congenital abnormality of the biliary system. CC more than 10 cm is rare and only a few cases are reported. Herein, we reported a 25 x 18 cm CC and highlighted how definitive treatment after a timely diagnosis provides good prognosis irrespective of the size.
