HCNA: Hyperbolic Contrastive Learning Framework for Self-Supervised Network Alignment

Shruti Saxena et al.

Summary: HCNA is a self-supervised contrastive learning model for network alignment, which learns from multiple augmented views of each network to adapt to the characteristics of multiple networks, resulting in improved alignment accuracy. The model utilizes multi-order hyperbolic graph convolution networks to generate node embeddings and handle the hierarchical structure of networks, and it generates augmented multiple graph views for contrastive learning.

BRIGHT: A Bridging Algorithm for Network Alignment

Yuchen Yan et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a novel family of network alignment algorithms BRIGHT, which overcome the limitations of existing methods and outperform state-of-the-art techniques for both plain and attributed network alignment tasks. The algorithm constructs a space by random walk with restart (RWR) using one-hot encoding vectors of anchor nodes and a shared linear layer. Experiments on real-world networks demonstrate the superiority of the proposed BRIGHT algorithms.

Contrastive Multi-View Multiplex Network Embedding with Applications to Robust Network Alignment

Hao Xiong et al.

Summary: The study proposes an end-to-end contrastive framework called cM(2)NE for multiplex networks (MNs), utilizing multiple structural views and learning with plug-in components to select fitted views for different layers and maximize inter-layer mutual information by emphasizing informative anchor links. Extensive experimental results show that the approach consistently outperforms peer methods in node classification and multi-network alignment tasks.

Balancing Consistency and Disparity in Network Alignment

Si Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper delves into the relationships between various network alignment methods and the competing design principles of sampling. It reveals the connections between a special graph convolutional network model and traditional consistency-based alignment methods in terms of model design. Furthermore, it quantifies the risk of embedding learning for network alignment with respect to sampling distributions in model training.
