Layered Ti3C2Tx MXene/CuO spindles composites for NH3 detection at room-temperature

The improved sensing performance is attributed to the presence of more oxygen free radicals and the strong adsorption energy of the ZnO/CuO heterojunctions. The strong built-in electric field of the heterojunctions enhances the polarity of NH3 molecules and induces a high response to NH3 molecules.
