Structural characterization and anticoagulant activity of homogalacturonan from durian peel

Zhenhua Liang et al.

Summary: Two novel pectic polysaccharides, DZM-A and DZM-B, were isolated from durian peel and shown to exhibit anticoagulant effects by affecting both endogenous and exogenous coagulation pathways. Additionally, DZM-A was found to regulate the content of ET-1 and eNOs, leading to changes in blood flow and demonstrating anticoagulant effects in vivo.

Structural Identification and Coagulation Effect of Flammulina velutipes Polysaccharides

Zhenhua Liang et al.

Summary: Two polysaccharides, CHFVP-1 and CHFVP-2, were successfully isolated from Flammulina velutipes and their structures were determined. CHFVP-1 exhibited procoagulant activity, while CHFVP-2 did not show significant coagulant activity. This finding could contribute to the further utilization of Flammulina velutipes in the field of medicine.
