Persian translation and validation of community attitudes toward the mentally ill scale: a tool for assessing social stigma about mental illness

Summary: No study has been conducted on assessing the validity and reliability of the CAMI inventory in Iran. This study translated and back-translated the questionnaire and used various methods to assess the content validity, internal reliability, and external reliability. The results showed that the CAMI scale is a valid and sustainable tool over time to assess the negative attitude toward mental illness.
