This study provides a new theoretical framework for understanding the intrinsic mechanism of Internet plus in the green transition of manufacturing companies.

Path to sustainable development: Does digital economy matter in manufacturing green total factor productivity?

Summary: In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and China's digital power strategy, this study examines the impact of the digital economy on the green total factor productivity (GTFP) of China's manufacturing industry. The research finds that the digital economy has a significant positive influence on manufacturing GTFP, but hinders technical progress. Talent aggregation and financial scale play critical moderating roles in this process. Furthermore, the influence of the digital economy shows regional heterogeneity, being positive in the east and negative in the central and western regions.

Twin transitions & industry 4.0: Unpacking the relationship between digital and green factors to determine green competitive advantage

This study examines whether pursuing twin transition can improve a company's green-based competitive advantage. The findings show that IoT, green HRM, and investment in environmental management strategies are directly and indirectly linked to a company's green competitive advantage. The study also suggests that technological innovation and green work climate perception play important roles in enhancing green competitive advantage, and that management seeking to improve green competitive advantage can adopt twin transition. This study contributes to the literature on twin transition by incorporating various factors and theories to measure green competitive advantage.

Therefore, the study recommends that the Chinese government enhance research and development investments, integrate digitalization and environmental policies, and green their economic growth, financial development, and energy transition policies.

Furthermore, there are differences and common features between EU countries in terms of the interrelationship between digital entrepreneurship, digitalization, economic development, national competitiveness and achievement of the SDGs.
