Magnetic properties and coercivity mechanism of high Ce-content CeNdFeB film with Tb diffusion

J. X. Wu et al.

Summary: The magnetic properties and coercivity mechanism of a high-Ce-content Ce-Nd-Fe-B film were investigated. After grain boundary diffusion with Tb layers, an enhancement of coercivity was observed. The coercivity mechanism was confirmed to be a mixed type dominated by the pinning mechanism based on the initial magnetization curves, micromagnetic theory, and in-situ observation of magnetic domains.

A micro electromagnetic actuator with high force density

Yue Wang et al.

Summary: This paper presents a planar type micro electromagnetic actuator with high force density, utilizing a thick NdFeB permanent magnet film with a chessboard pattern and a 3D mesh type micro coil with multi-turn configuration. The actuator demonstrates practicality and high performance through delicate design and novel connection between adjacent mesh units.

Analysis on deformation and texture formation mechanism of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnets based on heterogeneous structure evolution

Yuyang Tang et al.

Summary: This paper systematically studied the microstructure, micromagnetic structure, texture, and magnetic properties of hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnets to understand the formation mechanism of c-axis texture. The results revealed the formation and arrangement of platelet grains during deformation, as well as the diffusion of rare earth phase and grain growth in different grain regions. The deformation mechanism and formation of c-axis texture were deduced to be accomplished by dissolution-precipitation diffusion, grain rotation, and grain arrangement processes.
