Green Conductive Hydrogel Electrolyte with Self-Healing Ability and Temperature Adaptability for Flexible Supercapacitors

Kelin Peng et al.

Summary: Conductive hydrogels are ideal electrolyte materials for flexible supercapacitors, but current methods of preparation have some drawbacks. In this study, a new dynamic crosslinking method was used to prepare a double-network conductive hydrogel with excellent properties, and a phase-change material was introduced to improve its ionic conductivity and temperature adaptability. The resulting conductive hydrogel exhibited high specific capacitance, good stability, and excellent temperature tolerance when used as an electrolyte in flexible supercapacitors.
