Data-driven model for divertor plasma detachment prediction

Summary: We propose a data-driven surrogate model based on machine learning to predict divertor plasma detachment using the concept of latent feature space. The results show that our surrogate model can accurately predict detachment with a significant speed-up, indicating its potential for integrated tokamak design and plasma control.
