Progress in the prevention and control of water-borne arsenicosis in China

Summary: This report provides an overview of water-borne arsenicosis in China from 2001 to 2016, showing that a significant number of villages in China are at risk of high arsenic exposure, with an overall prevalence rate of arsenicosis at 1.93%. The study found that villages with arsenic-safe water supplies have lower prevalence rates of arsenicosis.
