Bibliometric analysis of female authorship in original articles in the journal ATENCION PRIMARIA

Maria Giner-Soriano et al.

Summary: This study examined the percentage of female authors in the journal ATENCION PRIMARIA and found that approximately half of the authors in original articles were female. There was a significant increase in the percentage of female first authors between the two periods, but the number of female last authors remained unchanged, indicating persistent under-representation of women in this field.
