Summary: Subchondroplasty is an effective procedure for treating symptomatic bone marrow lesions in the knee, including those with preexisting osteoarthritis, resulting in significant improvements in symptoms and activity levels. The postoperative VAS, WOMAC, and KOOS scores showed significant improvements. While the efficacy of subchondroplasty for knee bone marrow lesions is confirmed, long-term studies are needed for further evaluation.
