Genome-wide identification and response stress expression analysis of the BEST family in rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg.)

Bingbing Guo et al.

Summary: This study characterized the HbBES1 gene family in rubber trees through bioinformatics analysis. Nine BES1 members were identified, showing similar gene structures and regulatory elements related to hormone and stress signal pathways. The expression profiles of HbBES1 genes varied under different hormone treatments, with HbBES1-3 and HbBES1-9 being highly induced by ethylene. These findings provide insights into the molecular mechanisms of the BES1 gene family and its regulation of stress tolerance in rubber trees.
