The golden spice curcumin in cancer: A perspective on finalized clinical trials during the last 10 years

Ayse Kubra Karaboga Arslan et al.

Summary: Curcumin, the key bioactive phytochemical in turmeric, has been extensively studied for its potential anti-cancer properties. This study analyzed the existing clinical trials conducted between 2010 and 2020 on the effect of curcumin on different types of cancer and cancer therapy-related complications. The results confirmed that curcumin has the potential for cancer prevention and intervention, but further research is needed to determine its long-term benefits.
