Evidence of the niche expansion of crofton weed following invasion in China

Summary: This study aimed to elucidate the spatiotemporal niche dynamics of the invasive alien plant Ageratina adenophora in China. Comparing China and Mexico, we found a significant expansion of the niche of A. adenophora in China, with low niche overlap between the two countries. The potential geographical distribution of this plant is concentrated in the tropical and subtropical zones of Southwest China, influenced by precipitation and temperature variables. This research provides a unifying framework for studying the niche dynamics of other invasive alien plants worldwide.

Land-use change modeling with cellular automata using land natural evolution unit

Roundtrip retains the generative power of deep generative models while also providing estimates of density values, supporting both data generation and density estimation. Simulation of Land-Use Changes Using the Partitioned ANN-CA Model and Considering the Influence of Land-Use Change Frequency

This study established a partitioned, dual-constrained CA model using AWFLUC to capture the spatial heterogeneity of land-use change, significantly improving simulation accuracy. Consideration of AWFLUC as a land-use change characteristic led to shapes of division spaces more similar to reality and higher simulation accuracy.
