Thermal transport property in pyrochlore-type and fluorite-type A2B2O7 oxides by molecular dynamics simulation

Junwei Che et al.

Summary: This study systematically investigated the thermal transport properties of P-type and F-type A(2)B(2)O(7) structures using molecular dynamics, revealing that F-type structures have lower thermal conductivity due to stronger phonon scattering from inhomogeneous interatomic bonding. In addition, the thermal conductivities of F-type A(2)B(2)O(7) were found to be less dependent on temperature and closer to theoretical minimum values, suggesting the potential for achieving lowest thermal conductivity at high temperatures.

Understanding the Effect of Second Metal on CoM (M = Ni, Cu, Zn) Metal-Organic Frameworks for Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution Reaction

Jie Wu et al.

Summary: This study investigates the OER performance of Co-based bimetallic MOFs on carbon cloth, comparing different metal combinations. The results show that CoZn MOFs exhibit the best OER performance, attributed to the higher oxidation state of Co and the choice of second metal. Theoretical calculations suggest that tuning the electronic structure of the metal site can be an effective strategy for enhancing OER activity in MOFs.
