Mixed convective heat and mass transfer in magnetized micropolar fluid flow toward stagnation point on a porous stretching sheet with heat source/sink and variable species reaction

Summary: In this study, an unsteady MHD mixed convection flow of a non-Newtonian Casson hybrid nanofluid in the stagnation zone of a rotating sphere was analyzed, showing improvements in surface shear stress and heat transfer rate due to various parameters. Specifically, an increase in solid volume fraction as nanoparticles led to increased surface shear stress and heat transfer rate. The numerical computations were found to be in very good agreement with earlier published data for the limiting cases.
