A comprehensive study on crystal structure, magnetic, and electrical properties of Ni-doped Fe-Cd spinel nano-ferrites

M. H. Nasr et al.

Summary: The flash auto-combustion method was used to synthesize nanocrystalline spinel ferrites with varying Ni-doping levels. The structural, dielectric, and magnetic properties of the synthesized ferrites were characterized. It was found that increasing Ni-doping content led to larger particle size and lattice strain, as well as higher saturation magnetization and coercivity. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis identified distinct absorption bands of spinel ferrites, and their dependency on Ni concentration was studied. X-ray diffraction examination confirmed the presence of the main cubic phase and hemitate hexagonal phase in the synthesized ferrites.
