Spectrofluorimetric methods for the determination of mirabegron by quenching tyrosine and L-tryptophan fluorophores: Recognition of quenching mechanism by stern volmer relationship, evaluation of binding constants and binding sites

Naira A. Farid et al.

Summary: Green spectrofluorimetric methods were developed for the determination of Mirabegron (MG) in pure drug and pharmaceutical dosage form by utilizing the fluorescence quenching effect of MG on tyrosine and L-tryptophan amino acids. The methods demonstrated good correlation coefficients and low detection limits, making them suitable for quality control labs. The quenching mechanism was investigated, and the greenness profile of the methods was assessed. The results showed dynamic quenching for tyrosine and static quenching for L-tryptophan.

Development of Ag nanoparticle-carbon quantum dot nanocomplex as fluorescence sensor for determination of gemcitabine

Zahra Shekarbeygi et al.

Summary: The study successfully developed a fluorescent metal-nanoparticles conjugated carbon quantum dot (MN-CQD) sensor for the quantification of gemcitabine in real samples. The Ag nanoparticle-CQDs were found to be efficient for gemcitabine determination, with a linear range of detection from 0.003-0.1 μM and a detection limit of 0.002 mM. The sensor showed promising results in analyzing gemcitabine in human plasma and urine samples.
