Dynamic gesture recognition based on 2D convolutional neural network and feature fusion

Jimin Yu et al.

Summary: Gesture recognition is a popular technique in computer vision, but there is a lack of balance between efficiency and accuracy in existing algorithms. To address this issue, researchers propose a dynamic gesture recognition algorithm based on 2D convolutional neural networks and feature fusion. By using original keyframes and optical flow keyframes to represent spatial and temporal features, and employing the fractional-order method to extract the optical flow graph, the algorithm achieves high accuracy while maintaining low network complexity.
