Clinical Features, Diagnosis, Management and Prognosis of Primary Intraocular Lymphoma

Summary: This study evaluated the clinical features, diagnostic techniques, various treatment strategies, and prognosis of primary intraocular lymphoma (PIOL). The results showed that PIOL patients were mostly female, elderly, binocular, and B cell type dominated. The diagnostic technique with the highest positive rate was IL10:IL6>1 of aqueous. The delayed diagnosis rate and misdiagnosis rate were high, highlighting the importance of early and accurate diagnosis. Intravitreal injection of chemotherapy drug plus systemic chemotherapy (IV+CT) achieved satisfactory prognosis, and the combination of local radiotherapy (RT) further improved the prognosis.
