Summary: This letter proposes a novel accurate approximation for the channel distribution of cascaded RIS-aided wireless networks over Nakagami-m fading channels. The derived probability density function and outage probability expressions are applicable to any number of cascaded RISs and reflecting elements per individual RIS. The approximation accuracy is validated using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov goodness-of-fit test, and analytical results are verified through Monte Carlo simulations.

Summary: This paper proposes two deep learning compressive sensing algorithms for channel estimation in frequency-selective wideband mmWave systems. The algorithms learn critical apriori information from training data to provide accurate channel estimates with low training overhead. Simulation results show that the proposed DL-based schemes outperform conventional OMP techniques in terms of NMSE, computational complexity, and spectral efficiency.

Summary: This study focuses on optimizing transmission design for a secure communication system with reconfigurable intelligent surfaces in the presence of transceiver hardware impairments. The proposed scheme maximizes secrecy rate while ensuring power and unit-modulus constraints, using alternate optimization with SCA and SDP methods. Results show that the new design is more robust than conventional non-robust schemes.
