Mindfulness and burnout among Chinese civil pilots: Mediation through fatigue and proactive coping

Summary: This study examined the relationship between mindfulness and burnout among Chinese civil pilots and explored the mediating effects of fatigue and proactive coping. The results showed that mindfulness did not have a direct effect on burnout but had an important preventative effect. Additionally, fatigue and proactive coping fully mediated the relationship between mindfulness and burnout.

The results showed a positive association between burnout and Mets, with certain factors like long working hours and night shifts increasing the risk. Strategies are needed to prevent burnout and Mets in nurses with poor physical and mental health conditions and poor lifestyle habits.
