An Extremum Seeking Algorithm Based on Square Wave for Three-Dimensional Wireless Power Transfer System to Achieve Maximum Power Transmission

Hanbing Dan et al.

Summary: This article proposes an extremum seeking algorithm based on a square wave for the dynamic maximum power transmission problem of the three-dimensional wireless power transfer system. By simultaneously detecting two azimuths, the detection time of the maximum power transmission point is reduced. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in reaching the maximum power transmission point within 150 ms after load position variation.

Self-Tuning Omnidirectional Wireless Power Transfer Using Double-Toroidal Helix Coils

Prasad Jayathurathnage et al.

Summary: In this article, a novel omnidirectional wireless power transfer system based on double-toroidal helix coils is proposed and studied. The suggested antenna creates two mutually orthogonal magnetic fields through the double-helix coil wounded around a torus. The system consists of three transmitter-repeater pairs orthogonal to each other, ensuring omnidirectional functionality. Experimental results confirm self-tunability and high efficiency for any position and orientation of receivers.

Multifrequency Modulation to Achieve an Individual and Continuous Power Distribution for Simultaneous MR-WPT System With an Inverter

Chen Qi et al.

Summary: A novel multifrequency modulation method was proposed for individual and continuous power distribution in multireceiver wireless power transfer systems. The method introduces a look-up table and delta-sigma modulation scheme to synthesize a mixed-frequency driving voltage pulse. It allows for power distribution among receivers using only a standard full-bridge inverter with lower switching frequency compared to existing methods, and has been verified theoretically and experimentally for its effectiveness.
