How often do neurological disorders lead to dizziness in childhood?

Summary: This study aimed to determine the features and differential diagnosis of childhood dizziness, with a focus on the prevalence of neurological diseases in children. The most common diagnoses were vestibular migraine and orthostatic hypotension. Neurological disorders accounted for 40% of cases, with vestibular migraine being the most prominent. Ongoing symptoms were detected in 10% of patients diagnosed with vestibular migraine and psychogenic dizziness.
