A dual-model deep learning method for sleep apnea detection based on representation learning and temporal dependence

Hengji Qin et al.

Summary: A dual-model deep learning method for sleep apnea detection based on ECG data was proposed in this study, showing good classification performance. The ADASYN method alleviated the imbalance issue in classification results, the 1DCNN-RLM extracted discriminative features, and the BiGRU-TDM introduced time dependence, further improving the classification performance.

Automated classification of five arrhythmias and normal sinus rhythm based on RR interval signals

Oliver Faust et al.

Summary: This paper presents a method to detect arrhythmias using a deep learning algorithm. The model has shown high accuracy and performance in distinguishing different arrhythmias from normal sinus rhythm in RR interval signals. Additionally, the proposed algorithm can provide a robust second opinion in decision-making for arrhythmia detection.

The effect of age on the heart rate variability of healthy subjects

Leopoldo Garavaglia et al.

Summary: This study explores the relationship between heart rate variability and age and gender, revealing new behaviors and establishing basic scale relationships in different HRV measurements. Results show that the average RR interval is independent of gender, while other metrics exhibit abrupt changes around the age of 12 and show gender dependence after that age. Non-linear parameters alpha and beta vary with age, reaching minimum values around one year of age.
