The Study on Internal Flow Characteristics of Disc Filter under Different Working Condition

Yanbing Chi et al.

Summary: This study analyzed the hydraulic characteristics of disc filters under different clogged conditions and flow rates. It was found that the main flow area with the highest head loss was located in the middle of the filter element. The flow velocity exhibited a symmetrical distribution in a horizontal direction, indicating consistent inner flow characteristics of the disc filter under various conditions.
