The intuitionistic fuzzy concept-oriented three-way decision model

Jianhua Dai et al.

Summary: Recently, researchers have studied three-way decision models in fuzzy multi-criteria environments from the perspective of criterion fuzzy concept. These models consider the subjective preference of decision-makers for criteria and the evaluation value information system provided by decision-makers. However, the criterion fuzzy concept only takes into account the decision-maker's membership preference to each criterion, neglecting their non-membership preference.

Discrete choice models with Atanassov-type intuitionistic fuzzy membership degrees

Xinyang Deng et al.

Summary: A series of novel discrete choice models based on Atanassov-type intuitionistic fuzzy set are proposed in this paper, which consider membership degrees, non-membership degrees, and hesitation degrees simultaneously to express utility evaluations. The proposed models also take into account the attitudinal character of decision makers and relative weights of attributes to enhance their applicability in decision-making under uncertain and imprecise conditions. Two real-world case studies are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and rationality of the new models.

Distance measure and intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS method based on the centroid coordinate representation

Gang Sun et al.

Summary: In real life, people often need to aggregate some multi criteria fuzzy information and make reasonable and effective decisions. Distance measure in intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) space is an important tool for dealing with fuzzy decision making problems. Based on the distance measure represented by centroid coordinates, a new intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS multi-criteria decision-making method is proposed. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated through an illustrative example and comparative analysis.

Ranking Method of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers and Multiple Attribute Decision Making Based on the Probabilistic Dominance Relationship

Zhengwei Huang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the uncertainty of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFNs) due to the existence of the degree of hesitation (DH). The shortcomings of existing research are mainly seen in the difficulties in comparing IFNs and the limited consideration of uncertainty expressed by DH. The paper proposes an IFN comparison method based on area method and an MADM method under the intuitionistic fuzzy probabilistic dominance relation, which provide practical solutions to the comparison and dominance degree determination problems of IFNs.

Numerical Simulation for COVID-19 Model Using a Multidomain Spectral Relaxation Technique

Mohamed Adel et al.

Summary: The objective of this work is to evaluate and study the model of coronavirus illness by providing an efficient numerical solution. The model consists of five differential equations, and the multidomain spectral relaxation method (MSRM) is used for numerical solution. The proposed approach splits the problem domain into subintervals and converts the model into a system of algebraic equations. The convergence analysis and error estimation are discussed, and a numerical simulation demonstrates the accuracy and utility of the approach in symmetric forms.

Relative Density-Based Intuitionistic Fuzzy SVM for Class Imbalance Learning

Cui Fu et al.

Summary: In this paper, a novel relative density-based intuitionistic fuzzy support vector machine (RIFSVM) algorithm is proposed for imbalanced learning in the presence of noise and outliers. The algorithm estimates the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers using the relative density and assigns different fuzzy values to majority class and minority class instances to improve classification performance.

Some variants on Mercer's Hermite-Hadamard like inclusions of interval-valued functions for strong Kernel

Jamshed Nasir et al.

Summary: Using Atangana-Baleanu (AB) fractional integral operators, this study establishes some fractional Hermite-Hadamard-Mercer inclusions for interval-valued functions. It presents fresh developments of the Hermite-Hadamard inequality for fractional integral operators and provides supporting instances. The resulting results offer new insights into integral inequalities for fuzzy interval-valued functions, fractional interval-valued functions, and their optimization issues. Matrices-related applications are also demonstrated.
