We propose a stretchable photo-sensing logic gate based on the organic semiconductor DPP-DTT, which can achieve NOR logic gate function with the near infrared (NIR) light as input signal. Compared to conventional logic circuits, this system reduces transistor utilization and introduces NIR light to maximize and simplify the functionality of scalable photo-sensing logic circuits.
Silicon-based logic circuits are widely considered to be the basis of integrated circuits, which are used in various information technology industries. However, the complex integration and non-stretchable of traditional logic circuits limit their development in emerging fields. Here, we propose a stretchable photo-sensing logic gate based on organic semiconductor DPP-DTT that can achieve NOR logic gate function with the near infrared (NIR) light radiating to the stretchable phototransistor. Compared to the conventional NOR logic gate, this system reduces the utilization of the transistor and introduces the NIR light as an input signal, maximizing and simplifying the functionality of the scalable photo-sensing logic circuits. In addition, the stretchable phototransistor, which forms the core of the stretchable device, maintains its excellent electrical and optoelectronic properties under application of stress. These devices can facilitate the application of optical communication in stretchable logic circuits.
